For Inclusive Early Childhood Services
Our vision is for Hungary to be a place where every young child’s abilities, skills, and personality can develop fully in a supportive environment. This will enable them to lead happy and successful lives, regardless of their birthplace, municipality, or their family’s economic and social status.
Our mission is to ensure that early childhood services, including education, care, nurturing, development, and other programs in Hungary, are accessible to everyone and of high professional quality.
We strive for a Hungary where every child can live the life they desire. Our goal is to ensure that all children and families have access to quality early childhood services and grow up in a supportive environment that helps them achieve their aspirations.

We aim to establish and manage a robust platform that promotes inclusive early childhood services, enhancing both the quality and accessibility of education, care, and related programs.
This platform will facilitate collaboration among children, families, institutions, professionals, and civil society organizations (CSOs) to ensure that early childhood services are inclusive for everyone.

Specific objectives:
Bringing together and working with institutions, professionals and CSOs to understand each other, work together and make changes in the quality and accessibility of early childhood services.
Our aim is to raise awareness of the importance of early years, build interprofessional collaboration and take joint action to improve early years services. In other words, we do not wish to compete with other platforms or carry out overlapping activities, but to complement and strengthen each other’s activities and efforts.
Program level:
The platform will launch joint programs with the cooperation of its members with the following objectives:
- methodological reinforcement and innovation for both professionals and CSOs in the field of early childhood care
- strengthening and supporting the cooperation of teachers, nurses, other early childhood professionals and service providers with parents – both professionals and CSOs can help families and parents
- professional reflection, transfer of experience
collecting, sharing and presenting good practice - disseminating the importance of measurement and observation, disseminating and sharing good practices

Our activities:
- Annual interprofessional roundtable – 21st May, 2025 (first exposure, introduction and involvement of major key players)
Plans for the future:
- Our minimum professional standards
- Survey! Service map! local-central (participatory action research with professionals on early childhood services)
- Campaign: using personal stories to show what happens when a child does not access a service
- Set up and run fund: support early childhood programs at local level
